Caring for Your Dentures: Dos and Don'ts

It's crucial to remove your dentures every night. We recommend that patients clean them thoroughly and use a denture brush to remove any food particles before reinserting them. Additionally, brush your gums, tongue, and roof of your mouth with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste. Afterward, apply an antiseptic mouthwash to destroy any remaining bacteria and freshen your breath. Let your dentures soak overnight before placing them back in your mouth in the morning.

The Procedure
